Number guessing game
I went to MO (Mathematics Olympiads) today. It was that other Mr Lo – the doctor. He gave us two papers to do.
The first we did miserably. We were very, very wrong.
The second, we did it in a different way. We didn’t know how to do it, so we guessed. We put down "2" and proceeded to the next question. The next was not so hard. Then we went on to the third. And in the forth we were stuck. Later Mr Lo checked the answers with us. Turned out our guess in Q1 was correct! Mr Lo tried to solve it but he couldn’t. Even the doctor couldn’t, so it’s no surprise that we couldn’t.
We were so crazily happy. MO is like that I guess. The answers are usually integers so it’s easy to guess.
