Well, 16 now.

I totally didn’t realise that! I was playing on Neopets when I suddenly remembered. Happy birthday to me then. Honestly I don’t feel anything. But one year older, and I’m still that childish! Hilary Duff has a song called Sweet Sixteen. I don’t want to think of her.

I don’t have any presents yet! :P I will get my new spectacles tomorrow, that should be the present from mum. My sister said she wants to buy me Doraemon balloons. I’ll stop her because they’re not worth it, although they’re Dora.

You people better get me presents soon! Kidding, right. But for a free gift, get 5 people to sign up at Box.net so that I get a free upgrade (5 GB storage). Then you can worry about really buying me something! :D

1 GB free online storage

Today I stumbled upon this online file storing website called Box.net. It offers 1 GB of free storage. It’s 1 GB, and that’s a lot of space! For free too! Perfect for backups and file access at different computers. Say like yesterday I have to store our Beatles presentation PowerPoint somewhere. I used Gmail, saving it as a draft. Gmail offers even more storage, but the downside is every mail is limited to 10 MB. So for bigger files, I’m stuck. Now I have a solution.

Now you’ve read up to here, you know the benefits of this. You can sign up by clicking this button. You never know when you’ll need it.

New spectacles!

I went to Metro City today to get a new pair of spectacles. They’re purple. I think you’ll get to see them later this week. It’s not the kind with very think border, those that most people wear these days. They don’t look good on me. So finally we (that’s my mum actually; I’m not interested in choosing these glasses) chose a pair that is quite similar to the one I have now, except it is purple while the current one is red.

Those salespeople were quite silly. Some said I was shy. But what was I supposed to do? I was not a bit interested in choosing those. That man who checked my eyes even said I was scared. I don’t understand.

I hate Hilary Duff!

It’s really a mystery. Everyone knows I like pop quite a lot (who doesn’t?), but now I can’t bear listening to Hilary Duff. I used to be OK about her music, and I even liked her a bit, but now, suddenly, I totally dislike her.

First, I really can’t bear with her voice. Don’t know how to describe it … don’t know. Her voice has something in it that I hate. Second, her songs, just like other pop songs, are always the same. All songs are similar. So why do I have to listen to her songs? One is enough already! (Or none is even better!)

An example to see how much I dislike her. One day, I was listening to the iPod. It’s shuffling songs, then Hilary came up. I had to skip the song! And that’s saying something because I seldom skip songs on the iPod, as that drains the battery.

I guess it’s the first step to sanity. So many kinds of music out there, much better than Hilary Duff.
